Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts is the location of this fine rendering of the East Chop lighthouse. Captured to last a lifetime, these beautiful glass ornaments are each hand painted from the inside! The beautiful artwork of Marsha York is meticulously reproduced on these unique ornaments. This form of artwork, known as Eglomise, has existed in China since 1802. By going through the small opening on the top, each design is hand painted with a long curved paint brush. The original print is shown on the left, the ornament is shown on the upper right and the maroon padded box it comes in is on the lower right.
